Pertinea becomes active in the Netherlands

Belgian asset management company Pertinea has established a branch in the Netherlands, opening a new office in Utrecht.

Activities in the Netherlands are being managed by Country Manager Caroline Droste, who also joined the Executive Committee of holding company Pertinea Property Partners.

Caroline Droste is the former COO of the Corio-Klépierre real estate fund, having also previously worked for NSI, Bouwfonds and the PGGM pension fund.

Pertinea has now made its first acquisition among our northern neighbours. Through the RE-tail Return Partners II investment initiative, the group has acquired the ‘Op de Bouwerij’ centre in Enschede, a building comprising 7,550 m² of retail floor space, with tenants including Jumbo, Lidl, Hema, Kruidvat and Etos (25/09).
